Is Crewtavo really free?

Yes. Companies with up to 50 employees get every feature free, including putting their own name and logo on it. It runs in your own Railway account, so you pay Railway directly for what your instance uses: about $5–8 a month at light use. There are no per-user fees.

What if we have more than 50 employees?

You can keep using Crewtavo for free as long as the Crewtavo name stays in the app. If you want to white-label it under your own brand, or you want priority support, an enterprise license covers that.

Who owns our data?

You do. Crewtavo runs in your own Railway account with its own Postgres database. Your clients, jobs and invoices never pass through our servers. Export to CSV from the app at any time, or connect to the database directly.

Is Crewtavo a good Jobber alternative?

It covers the core of what Jobber does: requests, quotes, scheduling, field work, invoicing, payments and a client portal. It also includes an SOP knowledge base, equipment maintenance and satellite measuring. The main difference is that you host it yourself and pay no subscription.

Do I need to be technical to set it up?

No. If you can sign up for an account, you can deploy it. Click Deploy on Railway and Railway builds the app, creates your database and sets up everything else. Then open your new address and pick your trade.

Does it work on phones for my crew?

Yes. Crews use My day in the browser on any phone: on my way, start and complete, gate codes, checklists, photos and timers. It can be added to the home screen like an app.

Can my customers pay online?

Yes. Invoices can be paid by card or bank transfer through your own Stripe account, with optional tips. Stripe charges its normal processing fees; Crewtavo adds nothing on top.

What happens if Crewtavo stops being developed?

Your copy keeps running. The source code is open and your data sits in your own database, so nobody can switch it off, raise your price or hold your records.
